Taxes

Payment authorization and when you’re charged

By submitting payment information at checkout, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown, including applicable taxes and shipping.

Some payment methods place an authorization hold first and then capture (finalize) the charge when the order is processed or shipped.

Authorization holds are controlled by your bank/payment provider and may remain temporarily even if an order is canceled or changed.

Fraud prevention and verification
For your protection, orders may be screened for fraud or verification. If additional verification is needed, we may contact you. If verification cannot be completed, the order may be canceled and refunded.
Declined, failed, or reversed payments
If a payment is declined, fails, or is reversed:

Promotions and discount codes

Pricing errors
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order (even after confirmation) and issue a refund, or contact you for instructions before fulfillment.

If we offer subscription products or recurring billing options, the terms (billing frequency, amount, cancellation method, and renewal timing) will be clearly disclosed at checkout or on the product page. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges according to the disclosed schedule until you cancel.
Refunds

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ModuVault is not responsible for bank fees, overdraft charges, currency conversion costs, or other charges imposed by your financial institution or payment provider.
