Inventory Policy

This Inventory Policy explains how ModuVault manages product availability, stock levels, and inventory-related order issues.
Inventory availability
Product availability is shown on each product page and at checkout. Items may display as “In stock,” “Out of stock,” or similar availability messages based on our current inventory records.
Inventory accuracy
We work to keep inventory counts accurate, but inventory levels can change quickly and may not always reflect real-time availability due to high demand, multiple shoppers checking out at once, returns processing, or inventory adjustments.
Oversold or unavailable items
If you place an order for an item that becomes unavailable (for example, due to an inventory discrepancy), we will contact you as soon as possible and offer one of the following options:

A full refund for the unavailable item.

A substitution or replacement (only with your approval).

A partial shipment (ship available items first) and refund the unavailable item, when applicable.
Backorders and pre-orders (if offered)
Unless a product listing clearly states that an item is a “pre-order” or “backorder,” items are sold as currently available inventory. If we offer pre-orders/backorders, the product page will provide an estimated ship date, and that date may change based on supply and logistics.
Bundles and multi-item orders
If an order includes multiple items and one item is unavailable, we may (depending on your preference and availability):

Ship available items first and ship the remaining item later, or

Cancel/refund the unavailable item, or
-
Hold the order until all items are available (only when practical and with notice).
Inventory holds and cart reservations
Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee it is reserved. Inventory is typically secured only after checkout is completed and payment is confirmed.
Discontinued items
Some items may be discontinued or removed from our catalog without notice. If a discontinued item is no longer available, it cannot be restocked.
