This Payment Policy explains how ModuVault accepts payments, when you are charged, and how payment-related issues are handled.

Accepted payment methods

ModuVault accepts the payment methods shown at checkout. Available options may vary depending on your location and device and may include:

  • Credit/debit cards (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

  • Digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay)

  • Other local payment methods that appear at checkout (if available)

If a payment method is not shown at checkout, it is not available for that order.

Currency

All prices and charges are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. If your bank or payment provider uses a different currency, they may apply exchange rates and additional fees.

When you are charged

  • One-time purchases: Your payment method is charged when you place your order (or when the payment is authorized and captured, depending on the payment method).

  • Authorization holds: Some payment methods may place a temporary authorization hold before the final charge posts. These holds are controlled by your bank/payment provider.

Sales tax

Sales tax (or other applicable taxes) may be charged based on your shipping address and local tax rules. Any taxes collected will be shown at checkout and on your order confirmation.

Billing information requirements

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information, including:

Orders may be delayed or canceled if billing information cannot be verified.

Payment security

Payment details are processed using secure, industry-standard payment processing. ModuVault does not store full payment card numbers. Some payment providers may store your payment details according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Declined or failed payments

If your payment is declined or fails:

  • Your order may not be confirmed

  • The item(s) may not be reserved

  • You may need to try a different payment method or contact your bank/payment provider

If a payment is flagged for verification or fraud prevention, additional confirmation may be required before the order is processed.

Pricing errors

We work to ensure pricing accuracy, but errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, ModuVault may cancel the order and issue a refund, or contact you for instructions before fulfillment.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a payment issue, please contact us first so we can help resolve it quickly. Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes may delay refunds and can impact future purchasing ability.

Refunds
